Conary Update
Update lets you update (upgrade) or downgrade a piece of software on your system
update all
You can update everything by using updateall
PS If you are behind a proxy server see
HttpProxy
$ su -
# conary updateall
no new troves were found

trove
You can specify a
trove to update
# conary update <trove>[=<revision>]
and including a revision allows you to specify any older or newer revision than the one currently installed on your system
group
You could specify a
group to update
update
# conary update sun-jre
Additional troves are needed:
sun-jre:lib=1.5.0_07-2-0.1 -> unixODBC:devellib=2.2.11-1.2-1
unixODBC:devellib=2.2.11-1.2-1 -> unixODBC:lib=2.2.11-1.2-1
If you get the error "Additional troves are needed:" you can use --resolve
resolve
This switch resolves any extra dependancies for a trove or group
# conary update --resolve sun-jre
update kernel headers
# conary update kernel:build-tree
or
# conary update kernel:build-tree=2.6.16.22-0.1-1[kernel.smp]
