Software Installation
Software can be installed from a number of different package types.bundle
a bundle is a runnable installer / package that is first downloaded then executed https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bundle.deb
debian distros such as ubuntu use .deb packages that can be installed with dpkg, apt, dselect, aptitude or synaptic.rpm
centos red hat distros use rpm packages that can be installed with rpm or Yum.tgz
tgz packages generally work on any distro and are installed using TarUnzipREFERRERS
